Endologix purchases thrombectomy system from Surmodics

Endologix has acquired the Pounce mechanical thrombectomy system from Surmodics to expand its vascular intervention portfolio. The acquisition expands Endologix’s device options for clinical partners already utilising its Detour, Alto, and AFX2 platforms. The system is intended for non-surgical removal of thrombi and emboli.
