#NameIt Campaign Uses Humor to Break Taboos Around Penile Cancer Awareness
The Urology Foundation, in partnership with Avalere Health, has launched the #NameIt campaign to raise awareness of penile cancer using humor to break down stigma. Despite most having nicknames for their anatomy, awareness of penile cancer remains low, prompting the campaign to spark conversation through bold, cheeky creativity across multiple channels.
Supported by Stephen Fry, the initiative encourages men to recognize symptoms and seek medical advice early, offering tools like the “Pecker Checker” to guide them—an important effort as cases of this rare but rising cancer continue to increase.

Rebecca Porta, Chief Executive of The Urology Foundation, said, “We’ve heard from experts, patients, and their families for many years about the need for greater awareness of penile cancer, and we’re using this campaign to kick-start real conversations among men. We needed a bold, creative idea that cuts through taboo and meets men where they already are; using humour and familiarity to start a conversation about something very serious.”

Publicis Health and Talkspace Partner to Boost Adherence Through Social Support
Publicis Health has partnered with Talkspace to help life sciences organizations improve treatment adherence and patient outcomes by addressing gaps in social health and peer support. The collaboration integrates Wisdo Health, Talkspace’s AIpowered platform, into patient engagement strategies—offering personalized peer communities and guided group coaching to support patients between care touchpoints. By identifying early behavioral risk signals and providing scalable, evidence-based social connection, the partnership aims to reduce non-adherence driven by loneliness and lack of support. Initial efforts will focus on complex therapeutic areas such as oncology, neurology, and mental health, where sustained engagement is critical to improving long-term outcomes.
“Improving adherence requires more than delivering information, it requires addressing the behavioral and social realities that influence how patients live with treatment day to day,” said Brendan Gallagher, President of Saatchi Health, a Publicis Health company. “By partnering with Wisdo Health, we’re helping our clients apply behavioral science to one of the most persistent and under-recognized drivers of non-adherence: loneliness and social disconnection.”
